What is fused glass?
Fused Glass is the art of cutting and layering pieces of glass that go into the kiln to get fused together and become one piece. You may walk in anytime you want to create, or take one of our monthly classes. Children ages 6+ may create with glass, ages 12+ may learn how to cut glass. 1) Choose a Base for Your Fused Glass Project
We carry several different sizes and shapes of blank bases: Night lights, photo frames, stars, squares, rectangles, circles, necklaces and more! Bases are either clear, white or black. You will be able to customize your base to create an amazing one-of-a-kind fused glass creation.
2) Design Your Amazing Fused Glass Creation
With almost 50 different colors and hundreds of designer glass elements in varying shapes and sizes, you will get lost creating in this incredible art. Plus, we teach you how to cut glass so you can get the shapes you want! You have the option to add hooks and make your piece a sun catcher, or to fire your piece in the kiln a second time and turn it into a bowl.
3) Pick Up Your Finished Piece
When you’re finished creating, leave everything on your table, and we’ll take care of the rest (even clean-up)! We fire everything in-house, so everything is ready for pick up in 10-14 days. Simply return with your claim check to pick up your masterpiece!
